Dr. Seuss’ The Grinch

My daughter has been obsessed with the Grinch for years, and she requests to watch it year-round. Not only that, but we have the original Dr. Seuss book and lots of Grinch themed toys. So naturally when we got wind of the new Grinch movie from Illumination and Universal Pictures Home Entertainment we were the first ones in line at the movie theatre! My daughter was captivated from the very beginning of the movie, to the very end. The second I could pre-order a copy on DVD, I was adding it to my cart! Although we loved the movie itself, we were super excited about all of the exclusive bonus features from the DVD and digital! The DVD/Digital features over 60 minutes of bonus content including three mini movies, featurettes, a how-to-draw tutorial, inside looks on the making of The Grinch, and so much more! Before we sat down to watch the movie, we watched the exclusive mini-movies Yellow is the New Black, Dog Days of Winter, and Santa’s Little Helpers. Yellow is the New Black was by far my daughter’s favorite since she is a huge Minions fan, but I personally thought Max’s adventure in Dog Days of Winter was the funniest little show! We also really enjoyed the “You’re A Mean One, Mr. Grinch” Lyric Video by Tyler The Creator. As someone who is familiar with the original songs, I thought this was a fun and upbeat version that was a much-needed upgrade! If you haven’t seen this new Grinch remake, you definitely need to get your hands on it! If you seen it in theatres, I can’t wait for you to see all of the cute new bonus features! Dr. Seuss’ The Grinch becomes available on Digital January 22nd and  on 4K Ultra HD, 3D Blu-ray, Blu-ray and DVD February 5th.  You can learn more about Dr. Seuss’ The Grinch on their Website, FacebookTwitter, and Instagram!
