When my daughter took an interest in The Magic School Bus: Rides Again on Netflix, I was instantly excited. When I was a child, The Magic School Bus was one of my favorite cartoons and I honestly learned so much from Mrs.Frizzle and the gang! The Magic School Bus: Rides Again is a Netflix original that features Ms. Frizzle’s sister, Fiona Felicity Frizzle! The Young Scientists Club has been featuring Magic School Bus themed science kits for over 10 years now, but they’ve recently updated the kits to reflect the new and updated show! The updated science kits feature Fiona, Arnold, Ralphie and the rest of the super spectacular 5th grade class! Some of the new kits in the in the Magic School Bus line include topics like Going Green, Blasting Off with Volcanoes, Jumping Into Electricity, The Secrets of Space, Solar Energy to the Rescue, Human Body, and so much more! Each kit has numerous experiments in each box which means kids can play and experiment more than one basic way! We decided to get my daughter the “Blasting Off With Erupting Volcanoes” kit which teaches kids about the layers of the Earth, tectonic plate movement, different volcanic shapes and eruptions, and so much more!

ABOUT THE YOUNG SCIENTISTS CLUB: It’s been 19 years since Esther Novis, a mother of five and a former Harvard-trained biologist, started The Young Scientists Club as a summer science camp for her then 5-year-old son. Friends from other parts of the country told Novis they wanted to duplicate her concept and the idea for a science subscription service was born! The subscription kits are now mailed monthly to thousands of children around the world and the company’s retail kits are sold in hundreds of specialty stores. In addition to developing new products for The Young Scientists Club, this wise mom has many years of experience teaching at Phillips Academy, Andover and has written the science column for Parents Magazine plus wrote science experiments for the new science curriculum by McGraw-Hill Publishing.
