Bookcase Club: July

I absolutely loved this month’s Bookcase Club box. I found that this month’s box had a theme of nurture and compassion. We received a copy of Don’t Eat The Baby by Amy Young, The Only Child by Guojing, The Kissing Hand by Audrey Penn, and The Dark by Lemony Snicket.  The total approximate value of the books in this month’s box is $48.06. This box surpassed the last few boxes in my opinion. Lemony Snicket is one of my favorite authors, so it was nice to see an author that I was extremely familiar with. I also loved that there was a picture book included in this month’s selection. I had never heard of The Kissing Hand, however thanks to Bookcase Club it is one of our new favorites. Don’t Eat The Baby was a silly addition, but had a nice heartwarming plot which stuck with the box’s theme. It is safe to say that this box is one of my favorite boxes thus far.  My daughter hasn’t put these books down since they arrived!
