This Little Tikes Slam Dunk Big Ball Pit came with a blow up pit, 20 air filled balls, and one inflatable basketball. It took me about an hour total to blow up by mouth, however it would have been much faster with an air pump (mine is currently broken). There are also four pockets at the bottom that need to be filled with water so that it doesn’t fly away easily. I know the box to this toy says it is made for children aged 3-6, however I was a bit skeptical. Much to my surprise this  53″ x 53″ blow up pit is quite large! My three year old had no issues getting in or out. She also had no issues jumping around and throwing the balls. My seven year old nephew was just a tad too large to squeeze in, so I definitely would recommend this for children closer to 3-5 year range.IMG_7306My daughter played in this ball pit for over two hours before I made her come inside. She even begged me to let her bring it inside with us! She had such a fun time hopping around and dunking her basketball. After hours of jumping, I was quite impressed with the durability of this ball pit. Not once did I need to re-inflate or patch a hole due to the kids jumping too much! I am always worrisome when it comes to purchasing and playing with inflatable toys, however I know this toy was made to last! I did place the ball pit in my shed (without deflating) after we were done playing with it, simply because I don’t want any of the neighborhood animals using it as a bed. However I think it would be fine left out overnight. Such a cute way to let my daughter blow off a bit of energy!
