My daughter is a Mickey Mouse fanatic ,so whenever she received this Imagicademy Rocket Builder Playset she was THRILLED! With this playset my daughter can create over 1,000 fun rocket combinations while also grasping new STEM learning concepts. This rocket comes with 20 additional pieces which include wings, boosters, landing gear, and nose cones. My daughter found the lights and sounds on the rocket absolutely fascinating (batteries are included)! The rectangle action button on the top creates different sound effects while the round alien button adds up to 5 “alien passengers” to your rocket. When pushed down, Mickey also says different catch phrases like”Something tells me you’re going to be a great rocket pilot, pal”! My daughter spent hours mixing and matching her rocket pieces and ran around our house so that Mickey could “explore” different areas of our home. It was so fun watching her problem-solve by fitting the correct pieces into their corresponding spots. This toy does a fantastic job of teaching shapes and colors while also reinforcing hand/eye coordination. When partnered with the Mickey’s Magical Math World app (available on iTunes), this playset gives my daughter access to hundreds of fun math games. She can explore 5 different “worlds” inside of the app which encourage early math skills such as counting, addition, and subtraction. Although this app is NOT INCLUDED with the Disney Imagicademy Rocket Builder Playset, it is a great addition. With or without the app, we had a blast with this set! We really love how fun and educational it is and I can’t wait to expand my daughter’s Imagicademy collection!
