In Louisiana, we put hot sauce on EVERYTHING, so this subscription box is right up my ally! Fuego Box is truly a one of a kind monthly subscription box. Each month they send out 1-3 full size bottles of small-batch hot sauces! Inside this month’s box I received a full size bottle of Frankie V’s Spooky White hot sauce, a full size bottle of Lucky Dog Mild Fire-Roasted hot sauce, and a full size bottle of Born To Hula Ghost of Ancho hot sauce. I also received a “33 Drops Of Hot Sauce” booklet so that I can record some of my favorite sauces along with their spice ranking. The Frankie V’s Spooky White hot sauce was very good! It is made with a combination of white and orange habaneros, mustard, ginger, garlic, onions and infused habanero vinegar. It was definitely high on the spice scale, but wasn’t lacking in flavor! The Lucky Dog Mild Fire-Roasted hot sauce is made with fire-roasted Jalapeño, Serrano and mild Cayenne peppers with sweet roasted garlic. It isn’t extremely spicy, but has a fantastic tangy flavor! The Born To Hula Ghost of Ancho hot sauce is made with Habanero Ancho Sauce and ghost peppers. This sauce has a nice smoky flavor and is fairly spicy although not over the top! This month’s box offered a great variety from tangy all the way to super spicy. This is going to make a great addition to my next pot of red beans!
